Ep.31 - So…Tell Me About Your Childhood

It's mental health awareness month! Over our next two episodes we will be sitting down with two therapists and delve into discussions about the connection between mental health, relationships, and of course…finances!

For 18 years of most peoples lives, their thoughts and decisions are limited and shaped by other people's choices. Our childhood memories and traumas greatly impact so many decisions in our adult lives, especially financial ones. The way you view money is very largely shaped by the ideals and experiences learned during childhood. This episode we sit down with licensed therapist, Desi McKoy of Dimensions of Wellness, to unpack the many ways childhood trauma manifests into adulthood, how to recognize it, and what to do about when you're ready to get help.
